This tour is perfect for travelers with limited time in Cusco who want to connect with the Andes, enjoy breathtaking views, and experience a sacred Inca site.
Along the way, you’ll take part in a short Andean ceremony to honor the Pachamama (Mother Earth) and admire the incredible mountain scenery.
Pick-up from your hotel between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m., followed by a scenic 2.5-hour drive to the town of Mollepata, where you’ll enjoy a buffet breakfast.
We’ll then continue for about an hour to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike.
Before starting, your guide will give detailed instructions and safety tips. You may also rent horses directly from local villagers if needed.
The hike to Humantay Lake takes about 1.5 to 2 hours uphill, with spectacular views of the Andes, native flora, and snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided explanation, take stunning photos, and feel the powerful energy of this sacred place.
Afterward, we’ll hike back to Soraypampa, return by transport to Mollepata for a buffet lunch, and then head back to Cusco, arriving around 5:30 p.m.
