Your journey begins at the Ollantaytambo train station, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley. At the scheduled time, board your tourist train bound for Aguas Calientes (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes). During the ride, you’ll be surrounded by impressive mountain views, lush vegetation, and the Urubamba River.
Upon arrival, a Cusco Trips representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel (included). You’ll have the afternoon free to stroll around Aguas Calientes, visit the hot springs, or explore the artisan market. Overnight in Aguas Calientes (hotel not included).
After breakfast, take the bus to Machu Picchu and meet your professional guide for a complete 2-hour tour of the most important sectors — including the Agricultural Zone, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Three Windows, and the Intihuatana Stone.
