On the first day, you’ll travel from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, where you’ll board a panoramic train that follows the Urubamba River through breathtaking Andean valleys before arriving in Aguas Calientes. Once there, you’ll have the afternoon free to stroll through town, visit the thermal baths, or simply rest in your hotel surrounded by nature.
On the second day, you’ll take the early bus to Machu Picchu and join your professional guide for a two-hour walking tour of the Inca citadel. Learn about its history, sacred temples, and hidden mysteries as you explore the most remarkable areas of this archaeological masterpiece. Afterward, return by bus to Aguas Calientes, then board the train back to Ollantaytambo and continue by private transport to Cusco.

The afternoon is free to explore town, visit the local market, or relax in the hot springs before your overnight stay at a 3-star hotel.
After breakfast, take the early bus to Machu Picchu (30 minutes). Enjoy a 2–3 hour guided tour through the citadel, visiting its main temples, terraces, and ceremonial sites. Afterward, descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch (optional) before boarding the return train to Ollantaytambo, followed by a transfer back to your hotel in Cusco.
Book as early as possible to secure the best train and entrance times. Bring your original passport or ID, comfortable layered clothing, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle.
