It’s a perfect mix of challenge, beauty, and historical discovery.

    TRIP ITINERARY

    Day 1

    Day 1: Cusco – Capuliyoc – Chiquisca

We depart early from Cusco towards Capuliyoc, the trailhead of our trek. From here, enjoy spectacular views of the Apurímac Canyon before beginning your descent toward Chiquisca Camp, located in a warm, green valley.
    Distance: Approx. 7 km | Altitude: 1,900 m

After breakfast, cross the Apurímac River via a hanging bridge and start the steep ascent to Marampata, where you’ll enjoy lunch overlooking the canyon.
Continue hiking toward Choquequirao, arriving by afternoon to camp near the archaeological site.
    Distance: Approx. 14 km | Altitude: 2,900 m

This day is dedicated to exploring Choquequirao, an extraordinary archaeological complex often called the last refuge of the Incas.
With your guide, visit ceremonial plazas, temples, agricultural terraces, water channels, and the famous Llama Terraces — intricate stone carvings depicting sacred Andean animals.
Enjoy free time to explore and connect with the peaceful energy of the site.
    Altitude: 3,050 m

Begin your return hike, descending once more to the Apurímac River before making the final climb back to Capuliyoc.
