Embark on a full-day adventure to the stunning Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of Peru’s most iconic natural wonders, standing at 5,036 meters above sea level.
Admire its spectacular mineral colors and panoramic Andean landscapes as you hike through high-altitude terrain filled with native flora and fauna.
Along the way, you’ll have the option to visit the breathtaking Red Valley, another hidden gem of the Andes.
This is the perfect experience for travelers seeking a unique combination of nature, challenge, and unforgettable views.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in central Cusco between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m.
After a scenic drive of about two hours, we’ll stop in Cusipata for a delicious breakfast before continuing for another 1.5 hours to the starting point of our hike.
The trek begins around 8:30 a.m. and lasts approximately 1.5 hours uphill, offering incredible mountain views all the way to the top of Rainbow Mountain, where you’ll have time to take photos and appreciate the natural beauty of this geological marvel.
Afterward, we’ll return along the same path, have a buffet lunch in Cusipata, and finally drive back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00 p.m. near the Main Square.
