This adventure combines spectacular scenery, pure adrenaline, and cultural discovery in one unforgettable day.
Located in the heart of the Cusco region, this tour is perfect for those who want to reach the summit faster, with less hiking, while still enjoying the best mountain views in Peru.
You’ll witness snow-capped peaks, valleys filled with alpacas, and the magnificent multicolored slopes that have made Vinicunca world-famous.
What You’ll See
Pick-up from your hotel around 4:00 a.m. and departure toward the south of Cusco.
After a 2.5-hour drive, we’ll arrive at Japura, where you’ll enjoy a local breakfast.
Then, we continue for 45 minutes to the ATV base, where your guide will give you safety instructions before starting the ride.
Once ready, we’ll begin our ATV adventure through scenic mountain trails. After about 25 minutes, we’ll reach the parking area and walk 15–20 minutes to the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint.
There, your guide will explain the natural and cultural significance of Vinicunca before you take free time for photos and rest.
We’ll descend to the ATVs, ride back to the base, and drive to Japura for a buffet lunch. After lunch, we’ll head back to Cusco, arriving around 4:00 – 4:30 p.m.
