Embark on a scenic adventure to the Inti Punku Sun Gate, an ancient Inca structure perched high above the Sacred Valley.
This full-day hike offers breathtaking views of the Urubamba River, the Ollantaytambo archaeological complex, and the Veronica Mountain, while immersing you in the rich Andean culture and natural beauty of the region.

Your journey begins with pick-up from your hotel at 5:00 a.m. and a 1.5-hour drive to the Sacred Valley.
Our first stop will be in Pachar, a quiet village near Ollantaytambo, where you’ll enjoy a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, we continue to Ollantaytambo, where the hike begins.
The trail passes through ancient Inca quarries at Cacchicata, offering insights into the stonework used for the great Inca constructions.
The ascent takes about 4 hours, with incredible views along the way.
Once at Inti Punku (3,900 m), your guide will provide a detailed explanation while you enjoy free time to explore and take photos.
A box lunch will be provided to refuel before starting the descent back to Ollantaytambo.
We’ll return to Cusco around 5:00 p.m., ending near the Main Square.
