Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu
The 3-day Inca Jungle Trail is the perfect option for travelers looking for an intense adventure in a short time. This route combines mountain biking, rafting, hiking, ziplining, and breathtaking natural scenery, finishing with a guided visit to the world-famous Machu Picchu. Along the way, you will experience landscapes ranging from snow-capped Andean mountains to the lush jungle of the Urubamba Valley. An exciting and well-balanced adventure for adrenaline seekers and culture lovers.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 6:00 am and travel toward the Sacred Valley. Along the way, we pass through Chinchero and make a short stop in Ollantaytambo before continuing to Abra Málaga (4,350 m / 14,271 ft), where the adventure begins.
After receiving your equipment and safety briefing, you will descend approximately 40 km by mountain bike, riding from the snowy peaks of the Andes into the edge of the jungle. The biking route ends in Huamanmarca. From there, we travel by vehicle to Santa María for lunch.
In the afternoon, you may participate in an exciting rafting experience on the Urubamba River (optional). Later, we continue to Santa Teresa, where you will relax in the Cocalmayo hot springs. Overnight in a local lodge and dinner at a town restaurant.

The day begins early, around 6:30 am. After breakfast, those who wish to participate in the zipline activity (optional) will be picked up around 8:00 am and transferred to the adventure base. The experience includes several zip lines and a hanging bridge, ideal for adrenaline lovers.
After the activity, we travel by vehicle to the Hydroelectric station (approximately 1 hour). After lunch, we start a scenic 3-hour walk along the train tracks, surrounded by lush vegetation, until we reach Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

We wake up early to begin the walk to the Puente Ruinas checkpoint, which opens at 5:00 am. After presenting your passport and entrance ticket, we hike approximately 1 hour up to the main entrance of Machu Picchu.
Inside the citadel, enjoy a guided tour of about 2 hours, learning about the history and architecture of this legendary site. If you reserved Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain in advance (optional), you may complete the hike after the guided visit.
After the tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Later, board the train to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transportation back to your hotel in Cusco.
