    Day 1: Train Ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes

    Your adventure begins at the Ollantaytambo train station, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley. At the scheduled time, board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, a picturesque town surrounded by lush jungle at the base of Machu Picchu. During the 1 hour 45 minute journey, you’ll enjoy stunning views of rivers, mountains, and Inca ruins hidden in the vegetation.
    Upon arrival, a Cusco Trips representative will greet you and assist you with directions to your hotel. You’ll then have free time to check in (hotel not included), have lunch, and explore the town at your own pace. You may visit the hot springs, the artisan market, or simply relax before the big day ahead. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

    After breakfast, take the tourist bus up the winding mountain road to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Meet your professional guide for a complete tour of the citadel, exploring its most iconic areas.
